What is Eurokeder?
Eurokeder is a high-quality keder product that is used across the Americas and by the main clearspan manufacturers in Europe.
Keder is a manufactured rope edge, made from a flexible core surrounded by fabric. The keder fabric is coated on the inside only. This makes the keder weldable to regular PVC coated fabrics. The outside of the keder fabric is uncoated, with the polyester yarns exposed. The exposed yarns allow keder to slide better in aluminum keder extrusions compared to how coated fabrics would slide.

Why choose Eurokeder?
The main advantage of keder for use in fabric structures is the continuous connection it allows between a piece of fabric and frame. This allows for a faster install, a safer install, and a better load distribution compared with other methods.
Eurokeder is a keder product with 4 other distinct advantages:
Strength in Weaves
2200 Dtex (2000 Denier) yarns compared to 1100 Dtex for most keders. A thicker yarn means less wear, higher strength, and better sliding.
Accuracy is Key
RF welded. Radiofrequency (or HF High Frequency) welded keder has better accuracy and straightness. The accuracy and consistency of the distance between the core and the edge of the fabric are important to create tighter clearspan panels that move less in the wind. Better straightness improves the efficiency in the fabrication shop.
Weave Options
Plain weave: the use of the thicker yarn allows the use of plain weave, which results in a tighter weave. Many people find the plain weave less susceptible to fraying compared to the panama weave which is commonly used to create higher strengths and yarn counts with 1100 Dtex (1000 Denier) keder.
Coating Options
Unique products including double-coated keder.
