Fabric Panel Manufacturing
Fabric Paneling in Structures
For creating fabric structures using a frame support, Lightweight uses fabric panel manufacturing with kedered single-bay panels or a large multi-bay panel system. You can identify the best fabric for framing the connection system and the optimum fabric for your project with our engineering and design support, Lightweight Design.
Lightweight works with a wide variety of fabrics, including PVC-coated and laminated fabrics, polyethylene fabrics, Tenara, and clear fluoropolymer on glass yarn in our projects.Ā
Large fabric panel manufacturing
Large panel systems are commonly used for steel frame-supported systems. We tension them with pipes and pockets at the edges of the panels. The frame shape allows for the most efficient installation of large panels without attaching to intermediary arches.
Keder panel manufacturing
The use of keder panels for permanent frame-supported structures is common because the keder connection offers a reliable connection that is easy to install by sliding in rectangular paneling. During each phase of the installation, the fabric is connected to the frame. In aluminum frame systems, the keder track is incorporated into the main extrusions at no extra cost, and we almost always connect the fabric to it. On a steel frame, the aluminum keder track is added on top of the frame.
